Each vaulter, coach, lunger, groom, booster and all volunteers must complete, sign and return both release/waiver forms. Each club must also complete a Person Responsible Release Form, this is only done by one coach (person responsible for entries in their club).
Participation will not be permitted without a properly completed and signed form. Release/waiver forms are due on Wednesday March 27th, 2019.

Music for all mounted classes and Waivers for all participants must be received by Wednesday March 27th, 2019. Each vaulter, coach, lunger, groom, booster and all volunteers must complete, sign and return a release/waiver form. Participation will not be permitted without a properly completed and signed form. Volunteer Waivers and proof of Equine Influenza Vaccinations for all horses are allowed to be submitted at Club Check-In.

** Back up music – ideally this would be handed in along with all waivers on or Wednesday March 27th, 2019. This will help insure your vaulters music is on the lap top, make sure it is labelled correctly as described below and explained in the YouTube link.

There will be NO refunds of competition entry fees for either withdrawal from the competition or cancellation of entry after the entry close date of March 13th, 2019.
** A CLASS CHANGE FEE OF $10 PER CHANGE WILL BE CHARGED FOR ANY CHANGES MADE AFTER THE START OF THE FIRST CLASS WITH THE EXCEPTION OF VAULTER SCRATCHES OR HORSE BEING ELIMINATED BY JUDGE FOR SOUNDNESS ISSUES OR DANGEROUS BEHAVIOUR.

This competition is a family-oriented event. All vaulters and coaches should ensure that music selections, should they contain vocals, are appropriate for an all-ages audience.

NOTE: Back-up Music USB sticks are to be sent in with payment and waivers by March 27th, 2019.
Any horse entered in any class at a competition may, while on the competition grounds, be selected for equine medication control testing while at the event location. Drug testing fees, as set by Equestrian Canada:, will be added to the stabling costs for all entered horses. All horses entered at the Bronze level; $3.50
All competing horses will be issued a show number that must be worn and visible, on the right-hand side of bridle or halter, whenever the horse leaves the stable area. Failure to wear this number in schooling arenas, exercise and competition arena’s, or while in transit from stabling area to these arena’s, can/or may disqualify the horse from the competition.
There will be NO horse inspection prior to the competition start.
Canadian vaulters, lungers and horse owners must be members of their provincial vaulting association and must have an Equestrian Canada Bronze sport license or higher -National Level Classes (A, AA) and Provincial Level Classes (B-D), and third-party liability insurance provided through membership in their provincial sports organization.
Canadian vaulters entered only in Walk D Under 10 or Fundamentals do not need a sport license but must be members of their provincial vaulting association and their provincial sports organization.
American vaulters and lungers must be members of the American Vaulting Association, and the USEF if applicable.
Membership numbers must be submitted with your entries. Any vaulter who does not have the correct memberships by the Deadline will be scratched.
All stabling costs listed are per horse! One horse per stall.
Indoor stalls will cost $75.00 for 1 night
$120.00 for 2 nights
Tack Stalls will cost $110 for the weekend
Tack only permitted in Tack Stalls, not in alley/wash bays etc. during the weekend.
Stabling costs include the Equine Canada drug testing fees.
Please Note: Horses are permitted to arrive and leave the grounds at any given time. Horse transportation, movement and care is the responsibility of their owners/handlers/clubs.
Every class offered herein is covered by the rules and specifications of the current rules of EC and will be held and judged in accordance with the EC Rule Book.

A time schedule for riding and arena use will be supplied to each club at check in. When warming up, training or exercising horses under saddle, riding must only be in a designated riding ring. Suitable footwear and properly fitted, securely fastened ASTM/SEI or BSI/BS EN approved protective headgear must be worn.
Per Article A801, every entry at an EC-sanctioned competition shall constitute an agreement by the person responsible that the owner, lessee, trainer, manager, agent, coach, driver or rider and horse shall be subject to the EC constitution and all rules of EC and any additional rules set by the competition. It is the responsibility of all individuals participating in any capacity in EC-sanctioned competitions to be knowledgeable regarding the EC constitution and the applicable rules of EC and the additional rules, if any, imposed by the competition. Do not participate in this EC- sanctioned competition in any capacity if you do not consent to be bound by the constitution and rules of EC and any additional rules imposed by the competition. (A602.7)
Club Check-in: Saturday April 13 between 7:30am and 8:30am. If entries require an earlier start on Saturday than the tentative time of 10:00am, the Check-Inn time would be moved up.
Please bring Horse Passports (if applicable), Volunteer Waivers, and back-up Music USB sticks (only if not submitted with payment/waivers as preferred). You must bring proof of vaccinations to the Club Check-In (or submit with participant waivers prior to start of competition), in written form by the veterinarian. Please see the Equestrian Canada Vaulting Rules, section L201 for additional information regarding the vaccination requirements.
** All Clubs will be required to leave an open cheque at show office at check in; to cover any outstanding fees at the end of the competition.
Please remember: There will be No Horse Inspection prior to the start of competition.

All Walk and Trot classes will consist of one round (of both compulsories and freestyle) this includes Walk B and Trot B pairs classes. Walk B Squad will consist of two rounds (where round two consists of freestyle only). All Non-Selection Canter Classes: Individual and Squad Canter classes will consist of two rounds - round one includes compulsories and freestyle, and round two includes freestyle only, in accordance with the National Rules. Pairs classes will consist of two rounds. Selection Classes: Canter A and AA Individual, Pairs and Squad classes will consist of two rounds. Individual is two rounds of compulsories and freestyle. AA Individual consists of Compulsories, Technical Test and Freestyle. Pairs is two rounds of freestyle, Squad is 2 rounds (compulsory and freestyle, and freestyle). Green Horse classes will be offered per round. Cross class entries will be accepted at this competition. Please follow the permissible cross entries found in the National Rules. Every coach, lunger and vaulter will pay a $30.00 participation fee.
