When you want to enter an event like a CVI or world championships, the requirements are quite different than what you would expect at regular Canadian vaulting competitions. You will be entering on behalf of your country so this involves both Equine Canada and the International Equestrian Federation.

Eleven equestrian vaulters from BC and Alberta made up the Canadian contingent to the Kentucky Horse Park during a series of test events for the 2010 World Equestrian Games. The vaulting test event was comprised of three separate competitions – the American National Vaulting Championships, the North American Young Riders Championship and the Kentucky Cup, an international competition offering qualifying points for next year’s world games.
