The first Junior World Championships are planned for 2015. In the future, it is anticipated that the Senior World Championships will be held every even numbered year and the Junior World Championships will be held every uneven year.
Per the FEI website, the anticipated location is Ermelo, NED. Dates to be in early August. Events offered should include: Junior Squads Junior Pas de Deux Junior Individual Male and Female
The FEI World Junior Vaulting Championships are scheduled for August 5-9, 2015 in Ermelo Netherlands. A vaulter wishing to qualify needs to achieve a 6.5 in a CVI 2* junior or senior class and must be between the ages of 14 and 18 (2001-1997 ).
When you want to enter an event like a CVI or world championships, the requirements are quite different than what you would expect at regular Canadian vaulting competitions. You will be entering on behalf of your country so this involves both Equine Canada and the International Equestrian Federation.
The VaultCanada Sport Committee has established this selection process in order to determine representatives for Canada at the World Vaulting Championships and/or the World Equestrian Games. Specifically, the selection process set out below will ensure a fair method of selecting the National Team using objective criteria.
